Hotel Description:
Formally a Victorian silk warehouse in the textile district of the city, the building was
converted to a hotel in 1982. Retaining the existing internal structure, bedrooms were formed
on 5 floors and many still have the high windows associated with the Victorian period. With a
flavor of contemporary design balanced alongside practical use, our aim is to provide sensible
city living in a safe, friendly and efficient environment. Our brassiere and lounge bar are
ideal for meeting friends, relaxing and enjoying the vibrancy of the city without the
maddening crowds. Modern and European cuisine is prepared in our theatre kitchen and
presented for your enjoyment.
